World Food Day (follow #WFD2014) is a day of action against hunger on October 16, 2014. To celebrate, people all around the world will come together to declare their commitment to create a world free from hunger and malnutrition. At World Central Kitchen, we make it our mission every day – not just on October 16th – to use the power of food to empower communities and strengthen economies.
As part of #WFD2014, Think Food Group’s DC-area restaurants and several of our Chef Network restaurants will be opening their doors and donating 10% of sales to support WCK’s smart solutions to hunger and poverty.
Check out the list of participating restaurants below, and make a reservation today. Let us know where you’ll be dining via a Facebook comment or #WFD2014.
