Thanks to the help of World Central Kitchen’s Chef Network and donors from the food service industry, World Central Kitchen has mobilized chefs to serve thousands affected by the hurricane and subsequent floods.
Currently, our volunteer chefs on the ground in Houston have helped us “cook and serve” out of Texas Children’s Hospital, GRB Convention Center, and Reef Restaurant.
Additionally, we have helped coordinate nearly 100,000 pounds of food donations from these generous companies:

In Houston, World Central Kitchen has been helped by staff from Restaurant Associates, Levy Restaurants, and Touchpoint. And thanks to Texas Children’s Hospital and Reef Restaurant, our chefs have been able to prepare meals in professional kitchens to deliver to affected areas.
