You’ll have to travel to Haiti to visit José Andrés’ newest restaurant concept. The restaurant is the Pwason Beni fish restaurant in Croix-des-Bouquets, Haiti located on the grounds of a Partners in Health orphanage.
Last year, the DeMatteis Construction Group generously funded and built the restaurant from the ground up. Since then, the chefs have been practicing their skills and selling lunches to the staff of Partners in Health.
In November 2015, José Andrés and the WCK team opened the doors of the restaurant to the community. Using fresh tilapia farmed on site at the orphanage, the restaurant will serve delicious grilled fish, fish stews, sandwiches and traditional sides to the hungry neighborhood.
What’s better than good food? Good food that supports a cause! The revenue generated by the restaurant will financially support the Partners in Health orphanage.
