Last week, World Central Kitchen participated in the Haiti Food and Spirits Festival, a culinary celebration of Haitian cuisine, to promote our newly constructed culinary school, which will welcome its first class of students this October.

Graduates of World Central Kitchen’s Culinary School prepared two varieties of pate kode, fried patties filled with either cod or ginger chicken. In addition to showcasing their skills and techniques, our graduates shared their experience learning at our school and interning at restaurants around Port-Au-Prince.

Our new school will continue our strong track record of graduating 40 chefs per year, with 100% of them receiving internships and 60% receiving jobs after the completion of their internship.
