World Central Kitchen continues to support Hurricane Maria victims through chef-prepared meals with dignity. Through our extensive network of local volunteers, restaurants, and businesses, our chefs, led by José Andrés, have prepared over 2.3 million meals to date.

Our efforts to feed the many would not be possible without the help of many. The #ChefsForPuertoRico team, including José Enrique (José Enrique Restaurant), Enrique Piñeiro (Mesa 364), Victor Rosado (Treehouse), Wilo Bennett (Pikayo), José Santaella (Santaella), and Manolo Martinez (Paellas y Algo Más), have led our efforts from over 17 kitchens across the island.

To deliver meals to even the most remote areas of Puerto Rico, we’ve relied heavily on our Food Truck Network: Ocean Deli, High Kitchen, Lemon Submarine, Pisco Labis, El Churry, Yummy Dumplings, Peko Peko, Acai on the Go, and The Meatball Company. These trucks have brought hot meals from our kitchens to the front lines of our relief efforts all across the island.

Finally, we’d like to thank over 500 volunteers from every inch of the island who tirelessly helped to make sandwiches, prepare meals for delivery, and go door-to-door bringing the comfort and community of food with them. We couldn’t do it without you!

Continue to support our relief efforts by donating and spreading the word on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, and check out photos below of the people that power #ChefsForPuertoRico.
